Acid boric
L'acid boric (simbòl quimic : H3BO3 ò B(OH)3) es un còrs compausat minerau pauc soluble dins l'aiga e qu'es un triacid feble (pKA successius egaus a 9,28, 10,7 e 13,8). Dins lei condicions normalas de temperatura e de pression, es un solid blanc cristalizat que forma de palhetas. Se tròba naturalament en Itàlia Centrala ont es emes par certanei fumarolas. Es utilizat coma antiseptic, insecticida, precursors de certanei compausats quimics e per absorbir lei neutrons dins lei centralas nuclearas.
Dempuei 2010, la venda de l'acid boric es reglementada dins l'Union Europèa en causa de son caractèr reprotoxic.
