Bana
Las banas (o los còrns) son las extremitats ponchudas, cavas e duras que se tròban sul cap d'unes animals, e que son constituidas de queratina e d'autras proteïnas.
Las banas vertadièras se trapan sonque suls artiodactils romiants dins las familhas Antilocapridae e Bovidae (vacas, cabras...). Ça que la lo tèrme s'utiliza per fòrça autras espècias. Las banas an una utilitat pels animals mai que mai per la reproduccion dins las luchas dels mascles per las femes.
