La lenga e lo grop que la parla es pas sempre aisida d'identificar, que cèrtes bhilalis sonan lor lenga bhili, e que lo govèrn indian de còps mescla sos lo nom de bhil, los bhils, los bhilalas e los barelas-pauras, que parlan bareli pauri, bareli rathwi o palya[2].
Localisacion
La lenga es parlada per los bhils, dins los districtes de Dhar e Jhabua en Madhya Pradesh e dins lo districte de Dahod en Gujarat[3].
Classificacion
Lo bhili fa partida del grop bhil de las lengas indoarianas centralas, una branca de las lengas indoarianas, que fan partida de la familha indoeuropèa.
