Charles Edward Anderson Berry, mai conegut coma Chuck Berry (Saint-Louis, Missorí, 18 d'octobre de 1926 - 18 de març de 2017) foguèt un guitarrista, compositor e cantaire american. Desvolopèt lo Rhythm & Blues de son temps e i portèt d'elements distinctius de çò qu'anava venir lo Rock’n’Roll: de paraulas sus la vida dels adolescents, lo consumerisme aital coma una musica que donava la part bèla als solos de guitarra e a la mesa en scèna de sos interprèts - tant d’elements qu'aguèron una influéncia majora sus la musica rock e sus mantes artistas que sovent tornèron far de versions de sa cançons mai famosas, coma per exemple "Maybellene" (1955), "Roll Over Beethoven" (1956), "Rock and Roll Music" (1957) e "Johnny B. Goode" (1958). En 2003, la revista Rolling Stone lo classifiquèt coma 6en melhor guitarrista e 25en cantaire mai famós de totes los temps.
