Crosaire protegit
Lo crosaire protegit es un tipe de crosaire desvolopat a la fin dau sègle XIX (1875-1890). Lei partidas vitalas dau vaissèu èran cubèrtas per un blindatge de 30 a 80 mm e sa velocitat se situava entre 16 e 18 nos en foncion de son desplaçament (entre 4 000 e 8 000 tonas). Pasmens, aqueu blindatge protegissiá solament lei maquinas e lei sotas de municions e lo desvolopament dei tecnologias que permetèt de curbir tot un naviri d'una proteccion blindada entraïnèt l'abandon dau concèpte de crosaire protegit. Foguèt remplaçat per lo crosaire cuirassat.
