Dirham batut durant lo rèine dau califa Umar II.

Lo dirham es una moneda d'argent producha a partir de l'emergéncia dau Califat Omeia. Amb lo dinar d'aur, foguèt una importanta moneda de transaccion durant plusors sègles, principalament dins lo bacin mediterranèu e dins lo mond arabi. Son nom a inspirat l'apelacion de plusors monedas modèrnas.
