Lo personatge de Donald Duck (en occitan seriá Donald lo Tiron) es amb Mickey Mouse un dels mai coneguts de la The Walt Disney Company, que siá dins los dessenhs animats o per las bendas dessenhadas. Donald es un tiron blanc antropomòrf amb un bec, de cambas e de pautas de color irange. Es generalament vestit d'una camisa de marin e d'una mena de capèl, mas a pas de pantalons (levat quand va nadar). Se ditz qu'aqueste personatge foguèt censurat en Finlàndia per aquesta rason, mas es probable que siá pas qu'una legenda urbana.
Segon lo dessenh animat Donald Gets Drafted (1942), son nom complet es Donald Duck Fauntleroy. Dins sa familha pròcha a un oncle millionari e tres nebots.
