Foratge

Lo foratge (var. horadatge^[1]) es l'accion de cavar un trauc, sovent dich potz dins lo domeni de la prospeccion, dins lo sòu. L'objectiu es d'explorar ò d'esplechar lo contengut dau sota-sòu. Per exemple, de potz son forats per trobar ò esplechar de ressorsas naturalas (aiga, petròli...), per metre en plaça d'installacions geotecnicas ò geotermicas, permetre la mesa en plaça de procès de reduccion de la pollucion e per d'estudis scientifics. Segon l'objectiu, la prefondor e la zòna de cavament dau potz, lei mejans tecnics necessaris son diferents : traucadera manuala, traucadera leugiera, forets especiaus, sistèmas de refrejament, plataforma petroliera off-shore...
