Giovanni Giorgio Moroder, dich Giorgio Moroder, o simplament Moroder, nascut lo 26 d'abril de 1940 a Ortisei dins lo Trentin-Aut Adige en Itàlia, es un musician, cantaire, autor, compositor e productor de musica italian. A obtengut una reconeissença internacionala pr'amor de sa collaboracion ambe la cantaira disco Donna Summer (Love to Love You Baby, I Feel Love, Hot stuff etc).
Moroder es tanben lo compositor de celèbras bendas son de filmes coma per exemple la de Midnight Express (Chase), de American Gigolo (Call Me interpretat per Blondie), de Flashdance (Flashdance... What a Feeling, cantat per Irene Cara), de Scarface etc.
De per sa collaboracion fruchosa ambe Donna Summer, es non solament considerat coma un dels grands noms del disco, mas tanben per son apòrt a n'aquel registre musical de l'emplec recurrent del sintetizor, coma un pionièr de la synthpop, de l'italo disco en particular, e quitament un precursor de l'eurodance.
