Harrison Ford (nascut lo 13 de julhet de 1942) es un celèbre actor nòrd-american de cinèma. Filh de paire irlandés e de maire josieva russa.
Après aver acabat sos estudis en Wisconsin, joguèt al teatre, puèi signèt un contracte a Hollywood amb la Columbia, e posteriorament amb Universal, que li donèron de pichons ròtle dins de films e a la television, coma Ironside, en 1967.
En se veire dins de ròtle segondaris, se descoratgèt e estudièt la fustariá. Mas tornèt a Hollywood quatre ans après, e i trabalhèt coma fustièr, en esperant una oportunitat que sorgiguèsse per jogar dins un film. Aital, faguèt de Bob Falfa a American Graffiti. Quatre ans mai tard atenguèt lo succès amb lo ròtle de Han Solo a Star Wars. Èra fustièr dels decòrs e un amic li trobèt un assag amb lo director George Lucas, que lo contractèt. Tornèt far de Han Solo a “Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back” e “Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi”.
Lucas lo recomandèt a Steven Spielberg e faguèt en 1981 lo ròtle del succès Indiana Jones a Raiders of the Lost Ark ("A la recèrca de l'arca perduda") e las siás sequèlas. En 1985 foguèt nominat a l'Oscar e al Glòbe d'Aur pel ròtle de polícia dins “Witness". Foguèt nomenat un autre còp als Glòbes d'Aur en 1993 pel ròtle de Richard Kimble a The Fugitive (“Lo Fugitiu”).
