Jaume Stuart
Jaume Stuart (19 de junh de 1566 - 27 de març de 1625), tanben dich Jaume VI d'Escòcia o Jaume Ièr d'Anglatèrra, foguèt rèi d'Escòcia de 1567 a sa mòrt e rèi d'Anglatèrra e d'Irlanda de 1604 a sa mòrt. En Escòcia, succediguèt a sa maire Maria Ièra (1542-1567) e en Anglatèrra, succediguèt a Elisabeta Ièra (1558-1604) a la fin de la dinastia Tudor. Foguèt remplaçat per son fiu Carles Ièr (1625-1649).
Son rèine foguèt marcat per divèrsei succès economics e politics en Escòcia. En revènge, deguèt faciar de dificultats en Anglatèrra en causa dei tensions entraïnadas per la question religiosa e per l'oposicion a l'union dei dos reiaumes. De mai, sei temptativas de renfòrçar l'autoritat reiala se turtèron ai poders dau Parlament de Londres. Foguèt tanben a l'iniciativa de la colonizacion anglesa d'Irlanda e d'America.
