Joseph Addison
Joseph Addison (1èr de mai de 1672, Milston - 17 de junh de 1719, Londres) es un òme politic e un escrivan anglés de la premiera partida dau sègle XVIII considerat coma un dei premiers teoricians de l'estetica. Amb son amic Richard Steele (1671-1729), fondèt lei jornaus Tatler e Spectator onte publiquèt d'articles considerats coma de modèls d'assai. Puei, en 1713, escriguèt la tragèdia Caton qu'obtenguèt un certan succès e que li permetèt de començar una carriera politica.
