Lo kathoriya (o kathariya) es una lenga indoariana parlada en Nepal e en Índia.
Localisacion
La lenga es parlada dins lo districte de Kailali, a l'extrèm oèst del Terai en Nepal e tamben dins los districtes indians de Lakhimpur Kheri, de Bahraich, de Gonda e de Gorakhpur, dins l'estat d'Uttar Pradesh[1].
Classificacion
Lo kathoriya fa partida del grop tharu de las lengas bihari, una branca de las lengas indoarianas, que fan partida de la familha indoeuropèa.
