Lo khasi es una lenga austroasiatica parlada en Índia.
Localisacion
La lenga es parlada en Meghalaya[1], dins los districtes d'East Khasi Hills, West Khasi Hills e South West Khasi Hills.
Classificacion e dialèctes
La magèr part de las lengas austroasiaticas parladas en Índia fan partida de la branca de las lengas munda, coma per exemple, l'ho o lo santali. Lo khasi, amb qualquas lengas pròchas tamben presentas en Meghalaya, lo pnar, lo war e lo lyngngam, forma una autra branca de l'austroasiatic.
Escritura
