Lo lek (en albanés Leku shqiptar, plurau lekë) es l'unitat monetària d'Albania, devesida en 100 qinkarka. Creada en 1926 après la formacion de la Republica Albanesa, es venguda la moneda nacionala amb lo franc albanés. Èra destinat ai cambis internacionaus e, per aquò, sa valor èra liada a aquela de l'aur. Durant la Segonda Guèrra Mondiala, foguèt liat a la lira italiana de 1939 a 1944 avans de disparéisser amb l'ocupacion alemanda. Restaurat a la liberacion dau país, conoguèt una importanta reforma en 1965 amb la creacion dau lek novèu que valiá un lek ancian. Dempuei la fin dau regim comunista, lo lek es liat au dolar estatsunidenc.
