Locomotiva
Una locomotiva es un veïcul ferroviari que provesís l'energia motritz d'un tren. Dins certanei cas, permet tanben de produrre l'energia necessària a son caufatge e a son alimentacion electrica. Tradicionalament, lei locomotivas son installadas a l'avans dei trens per lei tirar. Pasmens, lei modèls modèrnes, dichs reversibles, son tanben capables de lei possar. L'aparicion dei locomotivas data dau començament dau sègle XIX. Foguèt favorizat per lo desvolopament dau camin de fèrre durant la Revolucion Industriala. Lei combustibles utilizats per assegurar la motorizacion an variat segon lei progrès tecnics (vapor, diesel, gas, electricitat, sustencion magnetica...).
