Norat Valentin
Norat Valentin (Marselha, 9 de julhet de 1911 – 10 d'abriu de 1939) foguèt un pintor occitan ben implicat dins l'occitanisme en Provença.
Biografia
Norat Valentin nasquèt dins lo barri de la Valentina a Marselha en 1911. Pichonet, faguèt leis estudis primaris a l'escòla dau vilatge. Anèt puèi a l'escòla de leis Bèlas Arts de Marselha ont se dirigiguèt vèrs la pintura. Foguèt adralhat vèrs lo Calèn e ne venguèt lèu un dei cepons de la tropa de teatre. Maugrat son succès dins aquesta entrepresa, decidiguèt d'i renonciar per poder perfeccionar mai sa mestresa de la pintura. Foguèt fondador de la Societat d'Art Occitan.
