Olimpia
Olimpia (grèc: Ὀλυμπία; grèc ancian: /ˈolympia/; grèc modèrn: /oliˈbia/ Olympía), un santuari de la Grècia antica situat a Elis dins la peninsula de Peloponés, es conegut per èsser estat lo site dels Jòcs Olimpics de l'antiquitat a l'epòca classica.
Los Jòcs Olimpics se tenián cada quatre ans durant l'Antiquitat classica, entre lo sègle XVIII abC e lo sègle IV apC.[1] Los primièr Jòcs Olimpics se tenguèron en onor de Zèus.
