Que pelegè durant la Guèrra Civila Espanhòla e abans d'estar victima d'ua repression encoratjada per estalinistas dens lo son pròpi camp republican. Arron la guèrra que conegó la repression franquista e mantuns membre que'n hon executats, exilats o qu'avón d'exilà's, quauques uns en França on e horen internats en camps de concentracion abans d'estar liurats aus alemands nazis e mandats aus camps d'exterminacion.
Après la segonda guèrra mondiau lo POUM que resistè contra lo regim deu dictator galèc Francisco Franco e que's dissó en 1980 dab lo retorn de la democracia parlamentària.
