Paraceratherium
Paraceratherium ("bèstia gaireben cornuda") es un genre de mamifèrs perissodactils, sosòrdre Ceratomorpha de la familha Hyracodontidae.
S'es descrich cinc espècias desparièras, mas tant las relacions entre d'espècias coma las relacions a nivèl de genre d'aqueste animal an generat una controvèrsia que dura encara a l'ora d'ara, un sègle après la descobèrta dels primièrs fossils.
Los animals d'aqueste genre apareguèron en Asia Centrala pendent la primièra mitat del periòde Oligocèn, fa aperaquí trenta milions d'ans, e s'extinguiguèron a intervengudi del periòde Miocèn, fa 16,6 milions d'ans.
