Quiron
Quiron (en grèc ancian Χείρων, Kheírôn, ‘l'inferior’ dels filhs de Cronos) èra un centaure qu'èra reputat d'èsser lo mai savi e just de totes los membres de sa raça dina la mitologia grèga. Lo centaure, qu'èra lo filh de Cronos e Filira, viviá sul mont Pelion, mas coma d'autres centaures, ne foguèt fòrabandit pels lapitas. Se maridèt amb la nimfa Cariclo e sa filha Ocirroe foguèt la maire de Pelcos. Recebèt son ensenhament d'Apollon e Artèmis e foguèt l'ensenhaire d'Aquilles, Asclèpi, Tesèu, Jason, Aristèu e Acteon. Foguèt un grand professor dins divèrses domenis coma per exemple en musica, art, caça, morala, medecina e cirurgia.
