Ram Jam
Ram Jam foguèt un grop efemèr de hard ròck anglofòn, originari de Nòva York als Estats Units. Es mai que mai conegut per sa version 1977 de Black Betty vendut a l'epòca a mai d'un milion d'exemplars entre 1977 e 1978. Èra compausat de Bill Bartlett a la guitarra e al cant, de Howard Arthur Blauvelt a la bassa, de Pete Charles a la batariá e de Myke Scavone al cant.
Black Betty, la cançon la mai coneguda de Ram Jam, es en realitat una represa d'un cant de trabalh afroamerican del sègle XX que los primièrs enregistraments datan de 1933 e que se pensa èsser estat compausat e escrich per James « Iron Head » Baker. La version de Ram Jam, tornada publicada un còp de mai en single en 1994, es estada l'una de las mai gròssas capitadas d'aquesta annada de 1994 en Occitània.[1]
