Rednex
Rednex (paisanàs) es un grop parodic electro-fòlc suedés anglofòn creat pels productors Janne Ericsson, Örjan Öberg e Pat Reiniz. Lo concèpte èra de mesclar la musica country americana ambe l'electro. Aital, lor represa en version tècno de la cançon tradicionala fòlc Cotton Eye Joe, publicada en 1994, a agut un succès mondial a la debuta de 1995.
Lor nom Redenex es calcat sul mot rednecks que significa literalament « copets rogs » en anglés. Un redneck es un tèrme pejoratiu emplegat pels abitants de las ciutats del Nòrd-èst dels Estats Units per designar un paisanàs, mai precisament « un rural del Sud qu'a lo copet rogit pels còps de solelh ».
