Sikkim (pr. Siquim) es un Estat del nòrd de la Republica d'Índia, dins Imalaia.
Ancian reialme de cultura tibetana, foguèt annexat per la Republica d'Índia en 1975. Sikkim es l'Estat mens poblat e lo segond pus pichon Estat d'Índia, après Goa. Es bordat a l'oèst per Nepal, al nòrd e a l'èst per la Region autonòma de Tibet en China, al sud-èst per Botan e al sud l'Estat indian del Bengala Occidental.
Las lengas oficialas de l'Estat son l'anglés, lo nepalés, lo sikkimés e lo lepcha, mas las lengas tradicionalas son de dialèctes del tibetan, lo vbras-ljongs-skad (sovent ortografiat drejonke), lo lepcha e lo limbo, tres lengas tibetobirmanas. Le Sikkim es lo sol Estat d'Índia que la majoritat de la populacion es pas autoctòna, mas d'origina nepalesa.
