Soft power

Poder suau, en anglés soft power, es un tèrme utilizat dins relacions internacionalas per descriure la capacitat d'un actor politic, coma per exemple un Estat, per infuenciar las accions o los intereses dels autres actors mejans de biais culturals e ideologics. Lo tèrme fogèt inventat pel profesor de l'Universitat de Harvard Joseph Nye en su libre de 1990 Bound to Lead: The Changing Nature of American Power[1], e desvolpèt en 2004 dins Soft Power: The Means to Success in World Politics[2]. La valor del tèrme coma teoria politica foguèt discutida, pasmens foguèt fòrça utilizat coma per diferenciar la poténcia sutila de la cultura o las idèas al respècte de formas mai coercitivas, tanben nomenada poder dur, coma l'accion militara o la pression economica.

Exemple d'utilizacion

Dins lo contèxte a la fin d'agost de 2008 (Jòcs Olimpics en Pequin e Guèrra en Ossetia de 2008), un jornalista analizèt la situacion del seguent: «Alara que China pretend capitar e impresionar lo mondo con lo nombre de medalhas olimpicas obtengudas, que Russia vòl l'impressionar amb la demostracion de sa superioritat militara; lo poder suau de China a respècte del poder dur de Russia: las preferéncias de los dos païses rebatejan lo gra de confisança tan diferent qu'aqueles an en eles meteisses.»[3]
