Status Quo
Status Quo es un grop britanic de hard ròck originari de Londres en Anglatèrra, actiu jos aquel nom a partir de 1969 (mas los sòcis del grop jogavan ja amassa dempuèi 1962 jos d'autres noms, The Status Quo, The Scorpions, The Palladins o The Spectres). Dins las annadas 60, lo grop es compausat de Francis Rossi (cant, guitarra), Alan Lancaster (cant, bassa), Alan Key, John Coghlan (batariá) e Jess Jaworski (clavièrs). Lo grop a cambiat mantuns còps de bataire, Pete Kircher a remplaçat John Coghlan en 1982, puèi i a agut Jeff Rich (1986-2020), Matt Letley (2000-2012) e Leon Cave.[1]
Se son tostemps estats plan populars al Reialme Unit, en Occitània, son mai que mai coneguts per dos tubes màgers, Whatever You Want a la fin de l'annada 1979 e In the army now a la fin de 1986. La version originala de In the army now es en realitat una composicion de 1981 dels fraires Rob e Ferdi Bolland (Bolland & Bolland), mas es la represa de 1986 per Status Quo qu'es la mai coneguda.
