UB 40
UB40 es un grop britanic de música reggae pop. La formacion, que s'inspira de tradicions diverses (cèltas, africanas o jamaicanas per exemple), se creèt a Birmingham en 1978. Son nom ven d'un formulari (Unemployment Benefits 40) que servís als caumaires per demandar una ajuda financièra. A mai s'avián ja una cèrta notorietat al Reialme Unit foguèt sonque a partir de 1984 amb sa version de "Red Red Wine", una cançon de Neil Diamond, que coneguèron un succès internacional.
UB40 es un dels grops qu'a vendut mai de disques mondialament, amb mai de 70 milions d'albums.
