Wesel es una dei vilas principalas de Ren del Nòrd-Vestfàlia en Alemanha.Es una comuna autonoma e lo capluòc de l'arondiment de Wesel e del districte de Düsseldorf ; es sòci de la Hanse, de l'Euroregion Rhin-Waal .
Geografia
La vila de Wesel se trapa al jonhent del riu Lippe e del canal Wesel-Datteln dins lo bacin renan, aperaquí al centre del districte de Wesel, poblat de 180 000 abitants. Se trapa a 45 km de la frontièra olandesa e a 30 km de la Ruhr e forma lo limit oèst del parc natural de la Hohe Mark. Lo Ren banha l'aglomeracion sus 17 km, la Lippe e lo canal esel-Datteln cadun sus 7 km. Dins lo plan d'urbanisme, Wesel representa lo centre de l'aglomeracion.
