Messina est una tzitade italiana de s'isula de Sitzìlia, cabu-de-logu de sa omonima provìntzia, su territoriu sou est de 213,75 kmq e aiada a su 2014 240.890 abitantes. Est una tzitade de fundatzione grega eddìest sa patria de su pintore Antonello da Messina. Es famosa sa antiga Cattedrale de Santa Maria Assunta.
