สเปกตรัมการเมือง

สเปกตรัมการเมือง (อังกฤษ: Political spectrum) เป็นระบบในการกำหนดลักษณะและจำแนกจุดยืนทางการเมืองที่แตกต่างกันแต่มีความสัมพันธ์ซึ่งกันและกัน ตำแหน่งเหล่านี้ตั้งอยู่บนเรขาคณิต พิกัดหนึ่งหรือหลายพิกัดที่แสดงมิติทางการเมืองที่เป็นอิสระ^[1] นิพจน์ เข็มทิศทางการเมือง และ แผนที่ทางการเมือง ใช้เพื่ออ้างถึงสเปกตรัมการเมืองเช่นกัน โดยเฉพาะกับแบบจำลองสองมิติที่เป็นที่นิยม^[2]^[3]^[4]^[5]

สเปกตรัมที่ประเทศส่วนใหญ่นิยมใช้ ได้แก่ การเมืองฝ่ายซ้าย–ฝ่ายขวา ซึ่งแต่เดิมอ้างถึงการจัดที่นั่งในรัฐสภาฝรั่งเศสหลังการปฏิวัติ (ค.ศ. 1789 – 1799) โดยมีกลุ่มหัวรุนแรงอยู่ฝ่ายซ้าย และขุนนางอยู่ฝ่ายขวา^[1] ในขณะที่ลัทธิคอมมิวนิสต์และสังคมนิยมมักได้รับการยกย่องในระดับสากลว่าอยู่ฝ่ายซ้าย ส่วนอนุรักษนิยมและลัทธิฟาสซิสต์ได้รับการยกย่องในระดับสากลว่าอยู่ฝ่ายขวา^[1] ส่วนเสรีนิยมอาจหมายถึงสิ่งที่แตกต่างกันในบริบทที่แตกต่างกันบางครั้งอยู่ฝ่ายซ้าย (เสรีนิยมสังคม) และบางครั้งอยู่ฝ่ายขวา (เสรีนิยมอนุรักษ์) ผู้ที่มีมุมมองระดับกลางบางครั้งถูกจัดให้เป็นผู้ที่อยู่ในการเมืองสายกลาง การเมืองที่ปฏิเสธการเมืองฝ่ายซ้าย–ฝ่ายขวา มักเรียกว่า การเมืองเชิงผสาน^[6]^[7] แม้ว่าป้ายจะมีแนวโน้มที่จะกำหนดตำแหน่งที่มีตำแหน่งตรรกะบนสเปกตรัม 2 แกนไม่ถูกต้อง เนื่องจากดูเหมือนว่าจะนำมารวมกันแบบสุ่มบนสเปกตรัมฝ่ายซ้าย–ฝ่ายขวา ฝ่ายละ 1 แกน

นักรัฐศาสตร์มักตั้งข้อสังเกตว่าสเปกตรัมฝ่ายซ้าย–ฝ่ายขวาเพียงแกนเดียวเรียบง่ายเกินไป และไม่เพียงพอสำหรับการอธิบายรูปแบบที่มีอยู่ในความเชื่อทางการเมือง และรวมถึงแกนอื่น ๆ^[1]^[8] แม้ว่าคำอธิบายที่ตรงข้ามขั้วอาจแตกต่างกันไป แต่แกนของสเปกตรัม 2 แกนที่นิยมมักจะแยกระหว่างประเด็นทางเศรษฐกิจ (ในมิติซ้าย-ขวา) และประเด็นทางสังคมและวัฒนธรรม (ในมิติของอำนาจ-เสรีภาพ)^[1]^[9]
