Anton Raphael Mengs (Aussig, 12 de marso 1728 – Roma, 29 de zugno 1779) xe stà un pitore teorico de l'arte todesco, ativo anca Roma e a Madrid.

De sta esperienzaa a sopravive scarse testimonianse, tra łe cuałi el dixegno Le arti piangono Raffaello, conservà al British Museum de Łondra, derivà da on'incixion de Carlo Maratta.
