El Golfo del Carnaro (co molte altre denominasion come Quarnero e Quarnaro;[1]) xe un golfo del Mar Adriatico setenrionałe, chel separa l'Istria da łe ìzołe de Cherso e Łuxino.
Ciamà de frecuente golfo, el Carnaro xe en realtà un braxo de mare a forma de inbuto che xe stringe intrà ła teraferma e l'arcipełago chersino-łusignàn e comunicante, mediante el canałe de ła Faresina. Dal punto de vista giografico xe generalmente ritegnù el confìn intrà ła regiòn ziogràfega tałiàn e la Dalmasia.
El Carnaro no xe da confondere dal Quarneroło [2], n'altro braso de mar chel separa łe ìzołe de Cherso e Luxìno de Vegia, Arbe e Pago.
