N'Djamena la xe la cavedal del Ciad. La xe costruia a la confluensa del fiume Chari co el fiume Logone e la ga on porto fluviale.
Storia
N’Djamena la xe stà costruia da i francexi ntorno al forte ciamà Fort Lamy – fondà el 29 magio 1900. El nome vien da Amedeo Francesco Lamy, on ufizial copà ne la batalia de Kousseri. El nome el xe stà cambià in tel 1973 e l’è quel de on vilagio che xera rente al forte (Ni’amina). La sità ga vù de le grose distrusion durante la guera civil in tel 1979 e 1980.
Popolasion
A N’Djamena se cata tuti i grupi etnici del Ciad, spezialmente: ngambaye (17%), hadjerai (10%), daza (7%), bilala (6%), kanembu (6%), e altri.
Religion
La majoria de i abitanti xe musulmani. La comunità cristiana (majoria catoleghi) la xe picola ma importante. La majoria de i profesionisti la xe cristiana.
