AMA Supercross Championship (thông nghiệp được gọi là Monster Energy AMA Supercross) là một loạt đua xe máy Mỹ. Được thành lập bởi Hiệp hội Đua xe máy Mỹ (AMA) vào năm 1974, AMA Supercross Championship được tổ chức từ tháng 1 đến đầu tháng 5. Supercross là một biến thể của motocross liên quan đến xe máy ngoài đường trên một đường mòn đất được xây dựng bao gồm nhảy vọt và trở ngại; các đường đua thường được xây dựng bên trong một sân vận động thể thao. Sự dễ dàng tiếp cận và thoải mái của các địa điểm vận động này đã giúp siêu xe vượt qua motocross ngoài đường như là một điểm thu hút người xem ở Hoa Kỳ vào cuối những năm 1970. [1]
