Anasyntormon là một chi ruồi thuộc họ Dolichopodidae.[4] Ban đầu, chi này được xếp vào phân họ Rhaphiinae, có họ hàng gần với chi Syntormon. Về sau, Hans Ulrich (1980) đã chuyển chi này sang phân họ Dolichopodinae sau khi phát hiện ra chúng có thể cùng thuộc một chi hoặc có quan hệ họ hàng rất gần với Hercostomus.[4][5]
Chi này ban đầu được Octave Parent thiết lập vào năm 1932; tuy nhiên, do ông không chỉ định loài điển hình cho chi, danh pháp này không được công nhận là khả dụng cho đến năm 1975, khi C. E. Dyte chính thức chỉ định A. secundus làm loài điển hình.[2] Mẫu vật định danh của loài A. exceptus từng được lưu giữ tại Bảo tàng Lịch sử Tự nhiên Hungary, nhưng bảo tàng này đã bị phá hủy trong cuộc Cách mạng Hungary năm 1956.[4]
