Crurotarsi là một nhóm bò sát thuộc Archosauriformes bao gồm các Archosauria (đại diện ngày nay là chim và cá sấu) và các loài Phytosauria bề ngoài giống cá sấu đã tuyệt chủng. Tên Crurotarsi bắt nguồn từ từ crus tiếng Latinh và tarsos tiếng Hy Lạp cổ đại; tên gọi này chỉ đến sự khớp nối đặc biệt giữa xương cẳng chân và khối xương bàn chân - cụ thể là giữa xương mác và xương gót.[1][2][3][4]
