Maipomyia là một chi ruồi thuộc họ Dolichopodidae, được ghi nhận tại Thung lũng Trung tâm Chile. Tên chi được đặt theo tên của Sông Maipo.[1] Chi này được xếp vào phân họ Medeterinae, thuộc tông Udzungwomyiini.[2]
