Mascaromyia là một chi ruồi thuộc họ Dolichopodidae, đặc hữu của các hòn đảo ở tây Ấn Độ Dương. Tên chi được đặt theo khu vực phân bố chính của chúng—các đảo thuộc cao nguyên ngầm Mascarene, kết hợp với từ "myia" (trong tiếng Hy Lạp cổ nghĩa là ruồi).[1]
