Nanomyina là một chi ruồi chân dài thuộc họ Dolichopodidae. Chi này là mộtchi đơn loài, chỉ chứa duy nhất một loài đã được mô tả là Nanomyina barbata.[3][4][1][5]
Nanomyina barbata phân bố ở bờ biển phía đông của Bắc và Trung Mỹ. Tính từ "barbata" có nghĩa là "có râu", dùng để chỉ dải lông cứng mọc ngang qua phần dưới mặt của loài ruồi này.[4][3]
John Merton Aldrich mô tả loài này lần đầu tiên vào năm 1902 dưới danh pháp Chrysotimus barbata.[1] Đến năm 1964, Harold E. Robinson thiết lập chi Nanomyina, khi đó chỉ bao gồm loài Nanomyina litorea do ông mô tả trong cùng công trình.[2] Vào năm 1970, Robinson xác định Nanomyina litorea là một danh pháp đồng nghĩa của Chrysotimus barbata, đồng thời chuyển C. barbata sang chi Nanomyina, qua đó đưa C. barbata trở thành loài duy nhất thuộc chi này.[3]
