Neomedetera là một chi ruồi thuộc họ Dolichopodidae.[2] Chi này thuộc dạng đơn loài, chỉ bao gồm duy nhất loài Neomedetera membranacea được phát hiện tại Trung Quốc.[1] Về mặt phân loại, chi được xếp vào tông Udzungwomyiini thuộc phân họ Medeterinae.[3]
