Palaeosystenus là một chi ruồi tuyệt chủng thuộc họ Dolichopodidae, được tìm thấy trong các mẫu hổ phách Baltic. Chi này chỉ bao gồm duy nhất một loài là Palaeosystenus succinorum.[1][2]
