Saccopheronta là một chi ruồi thuộc họ Dolichopodidae. Vị trí phân loại của nhóm này hiện vẫn chưa thống nhất: một số tác giả xem đây là một danh pháp đồng nghĩa của chi Medetera (khi đó các loài thuộc chi này được phân loại thành nhóm loài Medetera aberrans),[2][3] trong khi một số nhà nghiên cứu khác lại công nhận đây là một chi hợp lệ.[4][5]
