Scelloides là một chi ruồi thuộc họ Dolichopodidae, có phân bố đặc hữu tại New Zealand. Chi này ban đầu do nhà côn trùng học Octave Parent đề xuất vào năm 1933. Tuy nhiên, vì ông không chỉ định loài điển hình cho chi, danh pháp này không có giá trị phân loại chính thức cho đến năm 1989, thời điểm Daniel J. Bickel và C. E.
