Shamshevia là một chi ruồi thuộc họ Dolichopodidae. Chi này có vùng phân bố cách biệt khi ghi nhận sự xuất hiện ở phía tây Cựu Thế giới và quần đảo Fiji, đồng thời sinh sống tại nhiều kiểu môi trường sinh thái đa dạng.[2] Tên của chi được đặt theo tên của nhà nghiên cứu hai cánh người Nga Igor Shamshev.[1]
