Trochus là một chi ốc biển có kích thước vừa đến rất lớn. Chúng là động vật thân mềm chân bụng sống ở biển trong họ Trochidae, họ ốc đụn.^[1]

Trochus niloticus, ví dụ, là loài ốc rất lớn, dài đến 13 cm, sinh sống ở Ấn-Thái Bình Dương. Loài này được khai tách thương mại để làm nút xà cừ.
