Voalavo là một chi động vật có vú trong họ Nesomyidae, bộ Gặm nhấm. Chi này được Carleton and Goodman miêu tả năm 1998.[1] Loài điển hình của chi này là Voalavo gymnocaudus Carleton and Goodman, 1998.
Các loài trong chi này chỉ được phát hiện ở Madagascar. Cả hai loài đều được tìm thấy trong các khu rừng trên núi ở độ cao trên 1250 m; Voalavo gymnocaudus sống ở miền bắc Madagascar và Voalavo antsahabensis phân bố trong một phạm vi nhỏ ở miền trung của đảo.
