Eryops (/ˈɛri.ɒps/; dari kata Bahasa Yunani ἐρύειν, eryein, 'ditarik-keluar' + ὤψ, ops, 'wajah', karena kebanyakan tengoraknya berada di depan matanya), adalah sebuah genus temnospondyl amfibi punah. Genus ini hanya memiliki satu spesies, yaitu Eryops megacephalus. Fosil-fosilnya sebagian besar ditemukan di batuan dari periode Perem Awal (sekitar 295 juta tahun lalu) di Texas Red Beds, County Archer, Texas. Fosil Eryops juga telah ditemukan di bebatuan periode Karbon akhir dari New Mexico. Beberapa kerangka sempurna dari genus ini telah ditemukan di bebatuan Perem awal, tetapi fosil gigi dan tengkorak menjadi jenis fosil Eryops yang paling sering dijumpai.
Hewan ini memiliki panjang rata-rata yaitu 1,5–2,0 m (4 ft 11 in – 6 ft 7 in), dan dapat tumbuh hingga 3 m (9 ft 10 in) panjangnya,[1] membuatnya menjadi hewan darat terbesar pada masanya. Dewasa memilikki berat sekitar 102 dan 222 kg (225 dan 489 pon).[2]
