Interleukin 2, disingkat IL-2 (bahasa Inggris: T Cell Growth Factor, TCGF, lymphokine) adalah sejenis sitokina yang disebut hormon leukositotropik,[1] yang berperan sebagai stimulan dalam proliferasi sel B dan sel T.[2]
IL-2 ditelisik mempunyai fungsi yang serupa dengan IL-15.[3] IL-2 berperan dalam apoptosis sel T yang teraktivasi bukan oleh antigen, hal ini penting untuk mencegah autoimunitas, sedangkan IL-15 berperan dalam pemeliharaan sel T memori.[3]
