Sciotropis adalah genus dalam ordo capung jarum Odonata. Setidaknya terdapat dua spesies yang tergolong dalam Sciotropis.[1][2][3]
Sebagai hasil studi filogenetik molekuler yang dilakukan oleh Dijkstra et al. pada tahun 2013, genus Sciotropis dianggap "incertae sedis", yakni tanpa famili yang ditetapkan, tetapi tergolong dalam superfamili Calopterygoidea.[1][3]
