Sphagiocrates chersochlora adalah spesies ngengat dalam famili Gelechiidae. Spesies ini dideskripsikan oleh Edward Meyrick pada tahun 1922. Ngengat ini ditemukan di Australia, dengan catatan keberadaan di Australia Barat.[1]
Deskripsi
Bentangan sayap Sphagiocrates chersochlora sekitar 12 mm. Sayap depannya berwarna putih oker dengan beberapa sisik cokelat kelabu dan cokelat kelabu tua yang tersebar. Terdapat garis lebar berupa taburan cokelat kelabu pada bagian kostal dari pangkal sayap, berakhir pada bercak miring taburan cokelat kelabu tua di seperlima panjang sayap. Di luar ujung bagian ini terdapat bercak taburan cokelat kelabu tua yang melintasi lipatan, serta bercak kecil serupa pada bagian dorsum di pangkal dan pada seperlima panjangnya. Stigmata plical dan diskal pertama ditandai dengan bercak berawan dari taburan cokelat kelabu dan cokelat kelabu tua, dengan plical agak terletak ke belakang, sedangkan diskal kedua berada pada empat perlima panjang sayap, jelas terlihat, dan berwarna cokelat kelabu tua. Di antara stigmata diskal terdapat dua goresan pendek taburan cokelat kelabu dan cokelat kelabu tua. Area terminal ditaburi secara menyebar dengan cokelat kelabu. Sayap belakang berwarna putih oker.[2]
